The GeneXpert VI-2 was installed in Muscat Private Hospital Laboratory for testing different test assay. This test were Xpert CT/NG, Xpert HPV, Xpert Flu, Xpert Xpress Flu/RSV, Xpert MRSA, and Xpert C. Difficile BT.

On July 3, 2017, Marks the First Installation of GeneXpert in Private Laboratory.

The GeneXpert VI-1 was installed in Al Borg Medical Laboratory for testing different test assay. This test were Xpert CT/NG , Xpert TV, Xpert HPV, Xpert HCV VL, Xpert HIV-1 VL, and Xpert Flu.

On June 22, July 05-06, 2017, Marks the Installation of GeneXpert in Different Regions in Oman.

The Machine was installed in Nizwa Hospital, Sohar Hospital, and Sultan Qaboos Hospital – Salalah. Each site was installed with a GeneXpert 16-8 with Tests Xpert Flu and Xpert MTB to be used.

On the following week after the Installation, the Laboratory staffs were trained by Cepheid Product Specialist, Mr. Ahmed Madian.
